Bucklars hard exbury gardens Beaulieu Abbey

Buckler's Hard
Take a trip on the river, or a walk along the riverbank to see some of the abundant wildlife that inhabits the River Beaulieu's banks, and visit the 18th Century village where Nelson's war ships were built.

Exbury Gardens
The gardens comprise a spectacular 200 acre site, world famous for the Rothschild Collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, rare shrubs and trees.

Beaulieu Abbey
A visit to Beaulieu is a guaranteed great day out. Enjoy the National Motor Museum with the World of Top Gear and the James Bond Exhibition, Palace House and the historic Beaulieu Abbey.

Beaulieu
Beaulieu is an ideal centre from which to explore the many villages, walks and cycle tracks of the New Forest National Park and is only a few minutes by car to the coast at Lepe, Calshot or Lymington. Exbury Gardens are but a five minute drive and the historic museum village of Buckler's Hard, where many of Nelson's war ships were built, is a gentle forty minute walk along the meandering banks of the Beaulieu River.

We are very happy to recommend many of the excellent local restaurants and pubs, where you will be sure of both good locally sourced food and ambiance for either lunch or dinner.
